Job Description
Travel Super Mall is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance to oversee our B2B financial operations. This role will be critical in managing the financial activities related to our business clients, ensuring accuracy in billing, account reconciliation, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience in the travel or hospitality sector.
Key Responsibilities
B2B Financial Management: Manage all financial aspects of B2B transactions, including invoicing, payment processing, and reconciliation of accounts.
Billing and Invoicing: Oversee the accurate and timely generation of invoices for B2B clients, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements.
Accounts Receivable: Monitor outstanding receivables, track payments, and collaborate with the credit control team to ensure timely collections.
Client Account Reconciliation: Reconcile B2B client accounts, investigate discrepancies, and resolve billing or payment issues promptly.
Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including cash flow statements, profit and loss accounts, and balance sheets related to B2B transactions.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance analysis to ensure the financial health of the B2B segment.
Tax Compliance: Ensure all B2B financial operations are compliant with local and international tax regulations, including VAT/GST.
Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to provide insights on B2B client profitability, cost control, and opportunities for improving financial performance.
Contract Review: Review financial clauses in client contracts to ensure accuracy and adherence to financial policies and procedures.
Process Improvement: Recommend and implement process improvements to streamline financial operations and increase efficiency within the B2B unit.
Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, credit control, and operations teams to ensure smooth financial transactions and resolve any finance-related issues.
Qualifications
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, or CPA is preferred.
Experience: 6+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial analysis, particularly in a B2B environment. Experience in the travel or hospitality industry is a plus.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and make recommendations based on insights.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions and reporting.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients and internal stakeholders.
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced skills in MS Excel.
Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively to meet deadlines.
Knowledge of Tax Laws: Understanding of local and international tax laws, including VAT/GST, and financial regulations relevant to B2B transactions.
Customer Service: Client-focused approach with the ability to manage financial inquiries and resolve client issues efficiently.
