San Francisco – November 19, 2020 – SmartRecruiters is excited to welcome Rocki Howard as Chief Diversity Officer to drive the company’s plan to be an anti-discrimination, anti-racist force in the recruiting market. Rocki will serve as the company’s evangelist to transform the industry – helping customers achieve better diversity outcomes, help under-represented candidates find jobs, as well as owning the company’s internal diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts. This will drive industry change and support our customers in making diversity recruitment a competitive advantage.
As a respected D&I thought leader in recruiting, one of Rocki’s main initiatives will be developing the industry’s leading model in diversity recruitment practices. This model will include our 10 Principles of Diversity Hiring and serve as a way for Rocki to partner with our customers to transform hiring practices, promote diversity at scale and achieve Hiring Success.
Rocki will also lead the implementation of Diversity programs internally for SmartRecruiters. Her focus on engagement initiatives, education, recruitment and workforce planning will create a culture where all team members can be brazen advocates for the under-represented and SmartRecruiters is a recognized role model in creating a diverse workplace.
Her team will also spearhead diversity innovations in partnership with the R&D team, releasing new products to help clients achieve better diversity outcomes, from sourcing to screening, interviewing and ultimately hiring a more diverse workforce.

Rocki is an industry-recognized recruitment professional with over 20 years’ experience in multiple recruitment disciplines, including leading TA teams. In her most recent role for Resource Solutions, Rocki led a global team where her responsibilities included: heading the US operation, the NA Global Service Center, the global Pre Employment Screening team and the organization’s global Diversity Council. Rocki’s commitment to diversity, leadership, people and mentorship has resulted in industry recognition including: a finalist for HROA Global Provider Executive of the Year, EMpower’s list of Global Top 100 Ethnic Minority Executives two years in a row and Involve/Yahoo Finance’s Top 100 HERoes Executives list.
