The audit verified that SmartRecruiters’ security controls and operations meet SOC 2 Type II standards in data security and privacy
San Francisco – January 10, 2022 – SmartRecruiters, the Hiring Success Company, today announced it has successfully achieved the System and Organization Controls (SOC) 2 Type II certification, reinforcing its commitment to providing the highest levels of security and protection for its global customers’ data. The independent audit was performed by Sensiba San Filippo, LLP (SSF) and was completed with a “clean” audit opinion, indicating that there were no noted exceptions.
SOC 2 is an auditing program developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and is considered the gold standard for sharing independently reviewed information regarding a service organization’s internal systems and controls. A SOC 2 Type II report describes an organization’s ability to protect customer data by assessing the effectiveness of those systems and controls across five categories: security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy, using testing standards from the AICPA Trust Services Criteria.
