Job Description

1. Job Purpose

The main purpose of the inside Sales Engineer's job is to conduct various Marketing, Sales, and Procurement activities at ROG.

The Installation Technician is responsible for the execution of field service work associated with the installation and service of the Flex Steel products. The functional group also supports development of field processes, equipment, and logistical strategies to assure jobs as completed in a cost effective and efficient manner.

 

2. Principal Accountabilities

  • Reports to the Sales & Marketing Manager for sales
  • Reports to DGM for Field Activities
  • Accountable for setting and achieving the marketing and sales plans/budget.
  • Support the Sales & Marketing Manager in developing partnerships in line with ROG's saucing objectives (Marketing Plan)
  • Sourcing, pre-qualifies and registers potential suppliers/manufactures to meet ROG's client’s requirements.
  • Accountable for preparing and submitting the quotations on timely manner.
  • Conducts procurement of products while ensuring price competitiveness, quality, timing, and reliability of supply.
  • Stays up to date and follows-up on the collection status.
  • Maintains good relations with clients & suppliers and other third parties related to ROG's client’s requirements.
  • Assists the Manager in developing and institutionalizing ROG's expertise, know-how and capabilities.
  • Inputs on and resolves difficult technical and commercial issues.
  • Responds to client request and calls in a timely manner.
  • Assists the manager in identifying and tracking operational KPI's and devising plans and initiatives for operational improvements.
  • Maintain good, positive communication with clients, supervisors and subordinates are a team player.
  • Operate field services activities in a manner the assures a high level of customer satisfaction )internal and external customers)
  • Full responsibility for the execution of product installation, service, and maintenance activities. Typical activates to include jobsite evaluation, product installation, and product repair, equipment inventory, keeping up supplies, shipment preparation, equipment maintenance and repair, proper reporting, etc.
  • Supply an eye witness and recorded history of field service events pertinent to the project.
  • Supply accurate and complete field documents.
  • Ensure all field activities are performed in a safe and efficient manner consistent with all company policies, procedures, and standard practices,
  • Comply with all HSEQ regulations with a specific emphasis on proper use of PPE.
  • Assist in the design and development of facilities and field equipment best suited to meet customer needs in a safe and cost effective manner.
  • Support the development of field service processes and documentation to assure consistency in the approach and clear communication of best practices.
  • Troubleshoot problems in the field and provide solutions an needed
  • Perform other functions, activates, or duties as directed by supervisor

3. Communications and Working Relationships

 

  • Supports the Sales & Marketing Manager with all decisions related to ROG’s marketing, sales and procurement activities.
  • Interfaces with clients and suppliers on a regular basis and addresses problems before they are escalated to the Sales & Marketing Manager
  • Interacts with all levels of the organization on marketing, sales and procurement activities, issues (operational and other).
  • Coordinated with Operation Support regarding logistics activates.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment including engineers, construction/project managers, general contractors, and construction helpers.

Qualifications

Bs or BE in Mechanical Engineering

Excellent interpersonal, Communications, organization and persentation skills.

Previous work experience in Saudi Arabia with Saudi Aramco exposure is a benefit.

Computer literate ( Ms Word, excel and power point) ERP system in a benefit

Fluent in English ( Oral & Written) - Arabic language fluency perferred.
