Job Description

A Project Manager is an individual contributor in the Information Technology organization responsible for providing business needs in maintenance, implementation, support and documentation of projects related to Manufacturing and Non-manufacturing departments within the site. You will play a crucial role in the successful implementation and management of our new server room, as well as the overall IT systems across the site that support our silicon carbide semiconductor production.

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the new Hardware/Software projects related with the manufacturing site and work with stakeholders to define the idea or gather requirements, manage expectations, develop project plan and define scope.
  • Coordinate and orchestrate IT Technology group, global IT group, external suppliers and department requestor. Guide the team to ensure the project success.
  • Create an accurate and realistic project timeline, while managing the project risks and unexpected situations or scenarios.
  • Manage budget, deliveries, and scope. Ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor progress, set deadlines, and manage risks related to the project, mainly using Microsoft Project.
  • Report progress person responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure their completion in time, with quality, in compliance, within budget and within the waterfall and agile framework.
  • Develop the project idea and plan accordingly following IT PEP (Internal IT processes).
  • Lead the project team and enable them to meet client expectations.
  • Report project status of the project to Head of Departments and diverse project teams.

Qualifications

  • BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven project manager experience of 4 - 5 years.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and best practices. Experience in software projects through the full life cycle.
  • Deep knowledge of PM book and has implemented / knowledge on ITIL.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with excellent analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively.
  • Proven ability to complete projects on time, in compliance, within budget and with quality.

Additional Information

  • This role will be working on site in Roseville, CA.
  • Occasional international travel to Germany.
  • This position works Monday- Friday, additional hours as necessary.
  • Indefinite US work authorized individuals only. Future sponsorship for work authorization is unavailable.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $95,000-$120,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. Your Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range for this position during the interview process.
