Join us and take the opportunity to contribute to our future in the fundamentally changing automotive industry with your new role as a R&D Quality Excellence Manager (m/f/diverse) in the stand-alone business area Original Equipment Solutions (OESL).

In your position as a R&D Quality Excellence Manager (m/f/d) you ensure compliance of R&D processes in regard to IATF 16949 and other related regulations within the business area OESL. You safeguard the respect of relevant corporate rules within the BA R&D processes and ensure high quality of development results by internal audits, spot checks and data analysis. Furthermore you improve our processes with mappings, methods like lean, problem solving und support the R&D with trainings.

Your position will include the following activities: 

  • Ensuring compliance and audit readiness of R&D processes in regard to IATF 16949 and other related regulations
  • Implementation and continuous monitoring of quality standards in R&D processes to ensure compliance with IATF 16949 requirements
  • Safeguarding the respect of relevant corporate rules and sector rules within the BA R&D processes
  • Leading spot checks / deep dives
  • Ensuring high quality of development results
  • Participate in interdisciplinary project teams and task forces regarding quality topics, internal audits etc.
  • Enable a R&D risk management portfolio
  • Visualize business processes, apply systematic problem-solving methods, use lean techniques, map IT workflows for better integration, and continuously improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Interface to quality department for internal audits to ensure the conformity to our development process rules
  • Support in finding new ways to share the generated R&D knowledge with our internal customers like application engineering
  • Lead trainings to quality awareness and change management
  • Lead generic or R&D projects with global focus
  • Strive for process digitalization and automatization in most relevant areas

Qualifications

  • Academic degree in business engineering, business informatic, mechanical engineering, material engineering or equivalent field of study
  • Profound experience with quality management (systems) / IATF 16949
  • Knowledge of improving business systems and lean management methodologies
  • Long term professional experience within an innovational environment with process and project management, training / coaching and specific technical experiences within automotive industry 
  • Business fluent German and English language skills written and spoken
  • Exchange, coach and moderate international teams
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work with and in international teams
